Author Bio

Jill was born in Manchester in 1965. Throughout her public-sector career she qualified as a psychiatric nurse and served in both the Royal Military and Metropolitan Police. She retired from the latter as a Detective Sergeant in July 2016. Although born in the north she has lived in the south for over 30 years.
‘Cloaked in Death, Wrapped in Love’ is Jill’s debut novel. She currently lives in Surrey, but in keeping with her approach to life and now her son has left home, has plans to sell her house, pack her possessions once more, travel and see where life takes her. She may not be in Surrey for much longer!
